Hi, nice article and a good description of our beautiful island. Next time you come visit Koh Tao come and see me at Blue Marlin Divers in Mae Haad. I will arrange a free fundive for you!
Diving Koh Tao with Blue Marlin divers is just more fun.
Small, competent, friendly and relaxed. We ar a new Dive Center on Koh Tao with loads of enthusiasm and great ideas for environmental projects.
We also take part at the childrens projects and other conservation projects on Koh Tao. Have a look at: http://www.kohtao-community.com/ and http://www.bluemarlindiving.com/
and if you are interested in Thai Kick Boxing, you can learn all about Thai boxing (Muay Thai) at Island Muay Thai in Koh Tao.
http://www.thaiboxingkohtao.com/ is the website to go to.

So i hope to see you some day at Blue Marlin Divers
Cheers

I preferred Koh Phi Phi. It was more expensive but worth it.

1. Whereas during my Koh Phi Phi dives I had visibility of 20-25 meters, I had only 10-15 in Koh Tao.

2. In Koh Tao I have seen a few sharks and big turtles but the variety and quantity of fishes as well as the colours were much more impressive in Koh Phi Phi.

3. It was quite good at my school but in Koh Tao you often have very big groups going out for the dive (that's one reason why they have cheaper prices).

However, one also has to mention that I've been in Koh Tao beginning of december and some people said that because of the monsun this is not the best time for diving in Koh Tao.
